To remove a Package from a Distribution Point Group

  1. Set up a connection to the SMS Provider.
  2. Query a Distribution Point Group from SMS_DistributionPointGroup WMI class
  3. Use the RemovePackages method.
  4. Set the PackagesID property.
  5. Depending on the configuration, set the correct value

    when i used the above cmdlets, from the package property the DPGroup had been removed, but the DP remains.
    Could you please tell me how to remove distribution point from a package using powershell
